Sine Patriyotiko SIPAT, Inc. is an independent audio-visual institution. It is composed of students and young professionals in the field of film, arts, and mass media from various universities, organizations and communities. SIPAT believes that film is a powerful tool for social change.
SIPAT produces, exhibit and propagate films that deal with the conditions and struggles of the oppressed sectors of society. In line with this, SIPAT advances the progressive characteristics of film as catalyst for social consciousness. SIPAT deviates from the commercial orientation of films. It strongly links and unites with the oppressed and marginalized sectors of society for their basic rights and interests.

Works produced from 2000 onwards are accepted.
More than one entry from one group or individual is allowed.
Works from Luzon, Visayas, MIndanao and NCR will have representation in the screenings.

The Bagong Alyansang Makabayan – Eastern Visayas and all its affiliated organizations, through the Eastern Visayas Youth Council, would like to request from multimedia organizations/practitioners like you copies of documentary films and other media clips exposing and expounding on relevant issues. Documentaries and media clips of BAYAN-EV were lost during the most turbulent times in the region, thus, seeking the help of friends like you to rebuild a media library in Eastern Visayas. Said library will be utilized by BAYAN-EV in all of its campaigns and programs.
